We invite you to join us for an Information night about Autism. The speakers are highly qualified and experienced around this topic and with different backgrounds. We are excited to present the specialists that will join us this evening;
· Dr Caroline Mills, Senior Lecturer and OT, Western Sydney University
· Ayla Herskind, Behavioural Counsellor, Sensory Minds
· Mette Haulrik, Occupational Therapist
We ask questions such as:
- What is Autism?
- What causes Autism?
- What is the best support we can offer to Autistic people?
- How do we best adapt our society for people with Autism?
- How do professional Occupational Therapist and Counsellors work with Autistic people, their family and network?
- What is the latest research telling us?
The evening will be a combination of speakers, presentations, interactive demonstration, panel discussions and question time. The talk will be in English.
