The Danish Christmas Craft Group meet every Wednesday for 3 hours of “hygge” while we make handmade Christmas items for sale at the Danish Christmas Market each year in November.
We kick off each meeting with morning coffee and cake or brunch. On the 4th Wednesday of the month we finish with a Danish lunch at 1pm in the hall.
Everyone is welcome! Some of us work on our own creative projects and ideas, while others like to help each other out. Many materials and supplies needed for the craftwork is provided by the church. The important thing is to come, enjoy yourself, relax and to have a good Danish chat to help the creativity. It is all about ‘hygge’.
We often have the need for handywork or timber skills for some of our ideas. We would appreciate the help of anyone within the community that could do timber work at home for us by request.
We welcome visitors, so please come by and have a coffee and a chat.
