Rye Porridge powder. No added sugar.
Øllebrød is traditional Danish breakfast, a type of porridge made from baked, crumbed whole wheat rye bread. Øllebrød is one of the oldest dishes in Danish cuisine and dates back over 800 years.
Preparation of 1 serving:
In casserole: 5 tbsp. Rye porridge powder (about 50 g) is mixed with approx. 2 dl water and boiled for 2-3 minutes with continuous stirring.
In microwave: 5 tbsp. Rye porridge powder (about 50 g) is mixed with approx. 2 dl water and warmed about 3 min. At 800W. Stir after about 1 min.
Serve immediately after cooking with milk, cream or whipped cream.
