On 14 May, Queen Mary and King Frederik have something as exotic as their 21st wedding anniversary – and of course it must be celebrated with a beer or two, we will just do it 2 days later.
So join us for a festive celebration and a Pubcrawl on Friday, May 16th at a 4pm start, when we explore a few local places in and around the city:
· We meet at 4 pm and start at Shady Pines Saloon (4/256 Crown St, Darlinghurst)
· On to The Soda Factory (16 Wentworth Ave, Surry Hills) – where we can also get some delicious food!
· Hidden bars: RAMBLIN’ RASCAL (Basement/60 Park St)
· The Lobo (Basement lot 1/209 Clarence St) for Latin American vibes
· End at El Loco Slip Inn (111 Sussex St) – the Danish place where Queen Mary and King Frederik met
Dress code: Feel free to come in the Danish colors! 🇩🇰 It can be anything from a white shirt and red nail polish, to a football shirt, flapper hat or even Dannebrog!
Meet us later? You are always welcome to join us later on the tour! Send me a text and I'll tell you where we are!
If you want to join, you can simply turn up on the day, but you are very welcome to send an SMS to 0421 804 033 so that we don't leave without having everyone with us. You may also write to Frederikskirken's Assistant on Messenger, send an e-mail to info@danishchurch.org.au also if there are further questions.
