Saint Martin’s evening in Sydney
We love the Danish Traditions, Mortensaften we cant forget.
Saint Martin’s Day is celebrated each November 11th in a long line of countries, mostly as a harvest festival. In Denmark, the day is not an official holiday but many older generations still mark the occasion with a dinner of goose or duck on the preceding evening, known as Mortensaften (St. Martin’s Eve).
Friday 8/11/19 at 6.30pm we invite you to join us for a evening to remember – Mortensaften.
We will as the tradition says server duck and of course we will have BINGO too.
Enroll by emailing the office on info@danishchurch.org.au latest 1st November. We have limited numbers so the first in best dressed principal is used.
