Church Service and ‘Stormøde’
Join us this Sunday for a Service followed by lunch and ‘Stormøde’.
_______
We know you like the hot dogs at julemarked, glögg and æbleskiver around the bonfire at Sankt Hans and of course tøndeslagning at fastelavn – but what else?
We are calling for your help to improve and expand the activities at the Danish Church in Australia at STORMØDE on this Sunday; the 7th of May.
The purpose of the Stormøde is to meet with members and other stakeholders and gain ideas and feedback as to how we can improve the engagement levels at the Church.
We would love it if you reflected a bit over the four following points before the meeting.
- START what new initiatives would you like and how can we help each other start them?
- STOP what don’t you think works at the moment and why?
- CONTINUE what works and how can we improve or help each other keep it going?
- COMMITMENT How can we make it more attractive to be a volunteer?
In connection with stormøde, we will be serving a delicious chicken salad lunch followed by coffee and homemade muffins. In return, we’re simply asking for your commitment, suggestions, and opinions on how we can make the church an even better social and cultural place to meet for Danes in Australia.
The stormøde and lunch starts at 11 in the Church Hall, and we will be winding up no later than 13.15. But you are of course very welcome to join us for the preceding Service in Frederikskirken at 10.
We look forward to seeing you!
