DESCRIPTION:Museum Tour – Hyde Park Barracks Museum!\n \nAre you ready to dive into history?\nOn Saturday 29 March we will go on an exciting trip to the Hyde Park Barracks Museum – a UNESCO World Heritage site. The museum provides a unique insight into the beginnings of Australia’s penal system and its importance to both the indigenous population and immigration, as well as early institutional care.\nIt is also a unique chance to discover one of Australia’s most important archaeological collections, displaying over 4,000 original artefacts. Get close to Australia’s history.\nWe meet on Saturday 29 March at 2pm in front of the museum. It’s completely free to participate!\nIf you want to join, you can simply turn up on the day, but you are very welcome to send an SMS to 0421 804 033 so that we don’t leave without having everyone with us.
