DESCRIPTION:Sankt Hans – for the whole family!\nBig Bonfire, Danish goodies, traditional twist bread, gathering and feeling the true Danish ‘hygge’ around the golden dancing flames.\nYes, it is almost time to celebrate Sankt Hans.\nThe Danish Church is inviting you and your family for Sankt Hans celebrations. Everybody is welcome.\nWe begin our evening of ‘hygge’ with mulled wine, Danish pancake balls (æbleskiver), cordial, coffee and tea, while the children can spend a bit of time playing.\nWith nightfall there will be a bonfire speach, then we will light the big bonfire and sing the song of midsummer. When the witch has flown away, it’s time to bake the twist bread on long sticks in the fire with sausages.\nRegistration:\nPlease sign up here.\nPrice for a members of the Danish Church: adult $15, child $10, family $50\nPrice for non-members of the Danish Church: adult $20, child $10, family $60\nWhat to bring:\nBYO Picnic, a stick for the twist bread, picnic chairs and warm clothes, as it gets cold, when the sun goes down.\nLocation:\n“Tallo-wirra”, 53 Floyds Road, South Maroota, NSW 2756\n
